Kirurumu Under Canvas – Ndutu Area
Kirurumu Under Canvas
Kirurumu Under Canvas is an exceptional luxury mobile camp designed to intimately track the world-famous Great Migration across the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park. Because the herds are constantly on the move, the camp is seasonally relocated to ensure guests are always positioned in the heart of the action.
From late December to late March, the camp settles in the southern Serengeti, specifically in the Ndutu area. This strategic location places visitors front and center for the spectacular calving season, where hundreds of thousands of migrating wildebeests and zebras gather to give birth on the nutrient-rich plains.
Luxury Wilderness Accommodation
Despite its mobility, the camp refuses to compromise on comfort. It features seven incredibly spacious, well-equipped, solar-powered tents that blend seamlessly into the surrounding natural environment.
Designed to provide a cozy and intimate atmosphere, each luxury tent includes:
An en-suite bathroom with a flush toilet and a hot-water rain shower.
A large, comfortable bed draped in a protective mosquito net.
A private sitting area and an outdoor veranda for taking in the stunning savanna views.
The Safari Experience
After a thrilling day on safari tracking the migrating herds and local predators, guests return to camp where the dedicated kitchen team serves fresh, tasty meals. The evening concludes by cozying up around a crackling fire pit under the stars, before retreating to your luxury tent to fall asleep to the unforgettable sounds of the African night.
